The free breakfast might’ve been a nice touch, if I hadn’t missed it, but I appreciated that it was mentioned. The location seems like it could have potential with nearby attractions if everything else didn’t overshadow the experience.
Room had an uncomfortable bed and only two pillows for a double. inadequate considering the size. Bathrooms were mostly locked, with one functioning. no hot water was a total letdown. The noise from other guests was intrusive, with banging and shouting disrupting sleep throughout my stay. The smoke smell was pervasive, likely due to smoke alarms being removed. Repair work seemed non-existent, leaving behind unfinished walls and random screws throughout the area.

Couples looking for comfort
I had the back of the hotel to myself. The shower was large, which is rare at this price range. The staff were warm and cute, nothing was an issue. Amazing TV which I usually only find in £150 per night rooms. Truly don't get how they make it pay.
It wasn’t an inexpensive stay, though it was still acceptable.

My stay was quite pleasant, mainly because I had the back of the building to myself, which contributed to a peaceful atmosphere. The spacious shower in my ensuite was a lovely surprise for a budget option, and I really appreciated the welcoming vibe from the staff. It was nice to be close to downtown attractions, yet not overwhelmed by noise. I was in the area to explore local sights, so it met my needs well, although I wished for a little more in terms of coffee options in the morning.

Cozy atmosphere with welcoming staff.
My room was poorly soundproofed, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep due to noises from neighboring rooms and hallways. the bathroom could have used better maintenance as the lighting was inadequate and there was a noticeable lack of space for toiletries. The overall cleanliness of the shared spaces left much to be desired, adding to a feeling of discomfort during my stay.

the reception was super chill and had good vibes. i loved the location, just a 5 min walk from the train station and close to the town. got upgraded to a studio room without even asking, major win! staff were really nice. made me feel at home, will def come back.
the room could use a few more towels and the lighting outside the door was a bit dim.

Not what I expected
The place was super dirty and felt unsafe, especially with my kid. Didn't stay the whole 2 nights we booked 'cause I just couldn't do it. Just a total letdown. The picnic area looked nice though, would've been cool to use if I felt okay here.

The shared bathroom situation was unacceptable, with visible signs of poor hygiene that made me uncomfortable. The room itself was in disarray, featuring unclean bedding and remnants of past guests, which was extremely off-putting. In desperate need of maintenance, the surroundings were unkempt and lacked basic cleanliness standards. It's unfortunate that even the low price couldn't justify this experience.
